NILE COMMERCIAL BANK HISTORY

The concept of establishing a bank in the liberated areas of the SPLM/A originated as a result of the SPLM/A leadership council in Easton equatorial which concluded with the adoption of the following resolutions

1. The establishment of the civil authority of the new Sudan (CANS)
2. The establishment of the secretariat of finance and Commerce of the new Sudan
3. The establishment of Sudan relief and rehabilitation commission (SRRC)
4. The establishment of a bank in the new Sudan
5. The production of Currency for the new Sudan
6. The establishment of a university in the new Sudan

Again in the year 2000, the SPLM/A leadership convened another leadership council, this time  it was in Yambio Town, where the Torit  resolutions were revisited and   subjected to immediate implementations, in this council the delegates were urged to produce an Economic blueprint to demarcate the way forward for the SPLM/A

In the regards a Committee was formed to undertake the production of the blueprint and thereby in 2001, a blueprint called PECE THOUGH DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME WAS PRODUCED

THEREFORE NILE Commercial Bank was established in the year 2002 in the SPLM/A liberated areas during the days of our National struggle as a result of SPLM/A policy (THOUGH DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME WAS PRODUCED)

And it is worth noting that many revolutionary struggles had risen across the globe, but none had ever established a bank like our struggle movement SPLM/A, this event brings about the uniqueness of our Royal Army and Movement of the people of South Sudan as such Nile commercial bank
